a Long FAKE reddit post on am I The asshole.the text says the following: AITA for "withholding" payment from my employees and wanting to implement new technology in the company? I am the CEO of a major multinational entertainment company. Recently a large number of my workers in various departments have gone on strike because they are under the impression that they don't make enough money. That is a preposterous claim, since they usually are paid more than minimum wage and even earn a non-zero value of money after their actual employment through so called residual payment. Another process they are critical about involves the development of artificial intelligence in the script writing and acting sector. They are not aware of the implications of this new technology though. It is able to not only accelerate the script writing process, but can improve the course of both endeavours as well. It gives the employees more leisure time too, since they will not be needed anymore. That will also save me more money so I can buy another swimming pool for my private jet. I do not see the reasons for the strike, but my employees and a lot of people online (who should not even get involved in this situation, it might cost me money) think that I am an asshole. Tdlr: my workers are on strike because they are greedy and don't see the upsides in new technology. AITA. end description.ALT
